Dr. Travis began private practice in McKinney, Texas in 1992 and was one of the first Hematology/Oncology physician's in the area at that time. Later, after being in private practice for several years, he accepted the position of Senior Health Medical Director for the Medical Center of McKinney's Senior Health Clinic and dedicated himself to the treatment of the senior adult population in the McKinney and surrounding area until March of 2008. Dr. Travis states "My goal as a physician is to not only educate my patient's, but develop a relationship of open communication, and improve their quality of life by all means available. The patient-physician relationship is an intimate one where trust and integrity are vital".
Wm. Richard Travis, MD is a native born Texan. He received his Bachelors of Science degree at Baylor University, Waco Texas, received his Medical Doctor degree at Unversidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, in Guadalajara, and speaks fluent Spanish. He went on for internship in Internal Medicine at St. Vincent's Medical Center of Richmond, in Staten Island, New York, in which he received the Bodine Physician's Recognition Award, and pursued a degree in the field of medical oncology, at Coney Island Hospital, Brooklyn, New York, and then continued on further to achieve in the field of Hematology/Oncology bone marrow transplantation at the University of Texas at San Antonio, and completed his education in clinical Hematology/Oncology at Long Island Hospital, Brooklyn, New York.
Maggie Cooper is the licensed aesthetician/skin care expert at JEUNESSE MEDICAL SPA. Maggie's interest in skin care began when she wanted to learn more to improve her own skin. She started by studying skin care and she loved it so much, she decided to make it her career. Maggie, a graduate of Jones Beauty College, loves helping clients with a variety of skin conditions or just helping them pamper themselves. She is very passionate about her work and takes great pride in pleasing her clients.
